| The Data Track Systems
Debris Monitoring Module ( DMM) link accounting software,
truck-mounted chips, portable laser barcode scanners
and bar-coded tickets to automate the process of tracking
and accounting for loads of debris. The DMM addresses
the special needs of FEMA and associated state and
local agencies in organizing and monitoring debris.
The DMM tracks volume, site locations, scan operators
name, truck number and ticket number. Each scan provides
a date and time stamp to the second which provides
complete control of a hauling operation. Local and
state level agencies are able to deploy this system
almost immediately.
The DMM addresses the concern of remedial site hauling
accurately by allowing the scan operator to input
the percentages of the registered load capacity of
each truck at that exact moment of scan. Trucks can
be registered with an i-button on site by the scan
operator in charge. The bar coded ticket is provided
as a receipt to the independent driver and the scan
operator collects all information without requiring
a copy.
All necessary information is collected by scanning
the ticket and touching the i-button on the truck
each time a load is received or delivered. Setting
up the operation requires a scan operator a clipboard,
scanner and book of tickets which neatly fit in the
clipboard container allowing for over 500 loads without
carrying loose ticket books. The Laser scanner is
steel encased and has a lithium backup battery securing
all data until the download process which is securely
done through an Infrared batch process which is the
industry's most secure form of data transfer.
Our approach to data collection brings with it the intent that
a clients data is MOST important in ALL circumstances. Although
internet technologies are most times reliable, during a disaster
situation, a batch download will always be reliable. Our clients
build roadways often times outside of secure internet transmissions
and would limit or fragment data transmissions thus rendering the
data collection system useless. The DTS and DMM utilize the Infrared
batch download process for that reason.
For over 11 years we have patented and refined the data collection
process to provide our clients with simple, efficient and accurate
accountability of the hauling industry.
Disaster relief seem to bring chaos to a site with
a large loss in accuracy which will ultimately cost
the tax payers for what would amount to a form of
price gouging within the hauling industry. Our intent
is to have the FEMA dollars more efficiently spent
in these situations.
Implementing our already successful laser/i-button technologies
to the debris hauling environment, has been seamless. This transition
carries with it all of the essential attributes that have been tried
and proven with our many clients for years.
