DTSystems, Inc. announces the release of Laser Technology being used with the Data Track System


Tampa, FL – January 9, 2006 – DTSystems, Inc. the nations leading software provider for material tracking in the heavy construction industry announces the use of laser scanners with the established i-button and barcode technology.

The dual function class II laser scanner is extremely easy to operate and accepts the i-button technology along with complex encrypted barcodes to provide the ultimate in security. Laser technology requires less power than previous scanners and provides faster data collection for even the most complex barcodes.

The new scanner is an exceptional high-performance data collector. The ergonomic design provides one-handed operation for right- or left handed users, with a direct line of sight from the display to the bar code. Its lightweight aluminum housing with its industrial strength powder-coat finish provides unbeatable durability and weather -resistance for all heavy highway construction tracking needs.
