has introduced the Debris Monitoring Module
Tampa, FL – January 1, 2006 – DTSystems,
Inc. the nations leading innovative software provider
for material tracking in the heavy construction industry
announces the release of the Debris Monitoring Module.
Data Track System’s Debris Monitoring Module
links accounting software, truck mounted chips, portable
laser barcode scanners, and bar-coded tickets to automate
the process of tracking and accounting for loads and
types of loads of debris.
Debris removal is a major problem of every disaster
operation. The Debris Monitoring Module addresses
the special needs of FEMA and associated contractors
in organizing and monitoring debris. It tracks volume,
scan operator’s name, truck number, ticket number
and site location. In the case of Hurricane Katrina
dump site location accuracy is extremely important
due to Environmental Protection Agency’s disposal
guidelines of hazardous waste.
One of the many advantages of using the Data Track
System compared to other tracking debris removal systems
is its ability to be used for normal hauling of fill
during excavation and construction while not in use
for tracking debris hauling.

Engineer, Frank Nicotera, who developed the Data Track
